"See, The Thing Is..." The podcast and NXUS Media joined forces to launch the “See The Thing Is Podcast Cartoon”. Designed for die-hard listeners, viewers, fans, and subscribers of the titular, chart-topping lifestyle podcast, these animated videos are engaging, fun, and edgy real-life stories retold in various episodes.

One of the top acts in the 2023 Podcast industry, hosts Bridget Kelly & Mandii B have constantly been on the lookout for fun and interesting new ways to grow their audience. It doesn’t get much more fun and interesting than turning their audio into a cartoon. The primary goal of this project was to launch a short companion cartoon of the hosts themselves animated into the wild and relatable experiences they’re discussing, which in turn, will lead to increased engagement with the original show, create social media content, and further build their branding.

We searched through hours of audio to find the right soundbites and created a visualization of real-life stories and experiences to bring pull the viewer in. By bringing loads of scope and irreverent humor into the short animations, we made sure each video would make compelling ‘teasers’ for the overall episode or series. 
The now iconic designs have been used in further branding such as tour visuals and exclusive merch.
